This is my original copy of the "Static Age" tape I received from someone in 1987. She had been around when the Misfits used to play in New Jersey in a club under a supermarket and got a copy of the tape from the band.
It's in a different order and mix than what was eventually released, and yes there is a "pop" after "Come Back"

Thanks for sharing this. The sound quality is way better than other Misfits "demo" tapes I've collected over the last 20 years -- even for 128kbps mp3. As far as the sequence being different, it appears whom ever made the tape just put side 2 before side 1. I just found your blog today and spent all day at work slacking off and viewing all the cool pictures you've posted. Thanks again for sharing.
